Before graduating from Geneva High School in 2005 Jimmy Watt played varsity soccer, scoring once on rival Victor with a well-placed corner kick. Watt, a graduate student at Cornell University, is on a different kind of team these days. With 50 other Cornell engineering students, he is building a hybrid car from scratch for the 2010 Xprize competition.
